Doctor and comedian Ed Patrick joins us to bring his gut punch of a memoir to life with a taste of his stand-up routine, a reading and discussion about the secret life of a sleepless anaesthetist.

Ed has written and performed on BBC Radio 4 and he has also written for the Guardian about the intersection between medicine and comedy.
