The new memoir from comedian Ed Patrick is one to look out for!
Catch Your Breath follows his work as an anaesthetist, navigating his way through emergencies, patients not breathing for themselves and living with a terrifying sense of responsibility. It’s enough to leave anyone feeling numb.
But don’t worry, there’s plenty of laughing gas to be had.
We are delighted to welcome Ed Patrick as he discusses the thoughts and developments of his book.
Tickets include a copy of the book and will take place in person at P&G Wells’ Bookshop in Winchester.
Dr Ed Patrick is an anaesthetist and a comedian. He has performed across the UK, including at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and hosts the “Comedians’ Surgery” podcast where he speaks to guests including Joe Lycett, Rose Matafeo and Reginald D Hunter about their health stories and experiences.

Ed has written and performed on BBC Radio 4, for shows “Now Wash Your Hands” and “Newsjack”, and he has also written for the Guardian about the intersection between medicine and comedy.
