Alex Farrow and Ed Patrick bring you some of their new shows before they pop off to the Edinburgh Fringe. Expect themes of therapy, stoicism, the NHS and laughing gas.
Ed Patrick is a comedian, NHS anaesthetist and now author (oooooh, check him), and emerges with the makings of a new show, named (for now) after his debut book Catch Your Breath: The Secret Life of a Sleepless Anaesthetist (available in all your favourite bookstores). Ed performs across the UK and has written, presented and performed on BBC Radio 2 and BBC Radio 4. 'Brilliantly funny’ - Matt Lucas, 'Masterful, playfully provocative writing' - Chortle
Alex is host of award-winning Jericho Comedy in Oxford, as recommended by the Telegraph and Sunday Times. "Philosophy Machines" is a hilarious look at serious topics; AI, therapy, and repair. Alex's philosophy themed solo shows sold out at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2019 and 2021 ★★★★★ "Practically perfect" - Scotsman ★★★★★ "Packs a philosophical punch" - Edinburgh Studen
